Who? Where? When?:
Taproot is a pimp ass band from Ann Arbor, MI. The band is Mike (guitar), Steve (vocals, programming), JRod (drums), and Phil (bass). TR started in late 1997.

Member History:
Taproot started with D-hauz on vocals, Mike on guitar, Dan on bass and Steve on drums. Then D-hauz left tr for 20dead and Dan formed Madhops. Since taproot had no singer, Steve stepped up and took the job. After that Dan came back on bass and recorded a few songs, but Dan had is own thing goin on in Madhops so he went back to that. Mike and Steve now had to find a bassist and a drummer, which they did. They first found Phil(bass) and later they found Jarrod(drums). Once this line-up was formed the rest is History.

TR and Fred Durst:
This is old news for most tr fans and everyone is sick of hearing about it, so here's all you need to know about it. Taproot and Fred meet, Fred liked tr's music, said he wanted to work with them and produce them, this never happened so Taproot started looking at other offers from other record companies. When Fred heard about this he started being a bitch and he left this message on Steve's answering machine.
